Hello everyone! I would like to tell you about our latest photography adventures. It started when Brenda called to ask me to go to Branson with her. She was going to shoot engagement pictures at the School of the Ozarks . Having just watched the movie “Yes Man” on DVD with Jim Carey I decided to try out the word “Yes” myself! It proved to be a great word for me! We first stopped for a lunch buffet. Our wheels were spinning on possibilities for the engagement session when Brenda spots another person eating none other than cotton candy! “Hey! We should get some of that and take it to Branson. Wouldn’t that be great for pictures?” Indeed it would! We met Aaron and Jamie, a wonderful couple who had been dating for two years and were so excited to be planning for their wedding. After some indoor shots, we went outside and found a small waterfall where the couple had fun with the cotton candy! It was a hit and made for some really cute photos because they are so in love and know how to just relax and have fun with each other. Jamie was an alumni of the college and took us to some beautiful places to get beautiful photos. I was in awe of the beautiful chapel there on campus. They had tried three times to book it for their own wedding but apparently God had other plans for them. It kept getting overbooked and after the third time they decided to go with the Whitestone Chapel in Marshfield. That didn’t stop us from getting a few shots in the chapel there at the college though! Then there was the overlook which overlooks the lake and then down to a beautiful waterfall. And finally a quick run to the dam at the lake for a few shots there. We enjoyed Aaron and Jamie so much! What a fun couple and so in love that it made our job so easy. I can’t wait to see their photos and I hope them love them as much as we loved creating them! Amy Whitener-Ward

Welcome back to In My Heart Photography and part two of our latest wedding story! As you recall we left off with Douglas and Bethany’s wedding. Destiny and I met and then drove together to a wonderful little chapel in Sparta called Swan Creek Chapel. It is a fairly new two year old business in the making. Lovely place in the country that Destiny’s Tom Tom was determined to lead us to. Unfortunately it is unaware that it was leading us through some pretty rough gravel roads! Not to worry though, it did eventually get us to our destination. Upon arrival we met the wedding couple Douglas and Bethany. Two of the sweetest people you would ever want to meet and so very much in love. I think our biggest challenge of the day was the August three digit heat! You just have to feel for the guys in their jackets in that kind of heat. Needless to say, a lot of photos were made without those jackets! The wedding went beautifully and we were honored to be a part of their special day. I can’t wait to see which pictures Brenda decides to post on Facebook and on her blog! In the meantime check out Swan Creek Chapel and tell them that In My Heart Photography sent you!

Hello Bloggers! My name is Amy and I am one of Brenda's back up photographers. Business is booming for In My Heart Photography so Brenda has asked me to help her with her blog. I will be bringing you frequent updates on In My Heart Photography adventures for you to enjoy!
Last night's adventure is a two part story. There was a big party for Brenda and her husband for their 30th wedding anniversary. They celebrated with 75 of their closest friends and family! Due to her celebration she was unable to shoot a wedding at Swan Creek Chapel in Sparta for Douglas and Bethany. They were so understanding and graciously allowed Destiny and I to photograph their special day for Brenda. And this is where part two of the story begins. Stay tuned...
